Eating while raving?!
Some wise clubs and promoters offer fruits like Bananas, Grapes, Melon, Apples for their guests. Bless them. These tasty fruits could be one solution. Fruits with low acid levels are perfect for these times. Oranges for example could be too sour and burn your sensitive gums and stomach, leaving you feeling uncomfortable. Fruits like Bananas or Apples you can also bring easily with you and most of the super / mini markets sell fresh fruits.
Another good solution, particularly for those who can’t eat at all (including me), is to bring some packet soup with you. And I mean the high quality organic packet soups you can buy at organic supermarkets or via the internet. Miso soup for example, or just anything you like the taste of. You just need to add hot water and go. Drink it slowly, let it warm your body and feel your energy levels come back to you super quick.

Did you ever try protein powder or protein bars? Protein bars can be a little chewy, but are perfect for emergency situations in the club or in situations where it isn’t possible to get anything to eat, as they are made for being on the road. But I can really recommend protein powder. Just mix it with water, milk or fruit juice and voila.
Say hi(gh) to the benefits of protein powder. It does several things:
Prevents your body from getting too exhausted (good if you have to do things the next days).
Keeps your brain and body working when you are high (very good if you have to travel and carry stuff before and/or afterwards)
Gives your body everything it needs when being undersupplied by not eating (teeth/hair/skin/bones)
Keeps your stomach in good condition
Muscle growth is another point which could be beneficial for you. Protein is essential for muscle growth. Many athletes (this is what we are during the weekends) consume protein to help with muscle growth. Also protein (powder) helps your muscles to recover after a lot of exercise. What bliss! All in all it sounds like another secret weapon for our rave bag.

Eating while raving
Most substances aren’t known for making you hungry. You’ll all know those situations, especially at long parties or afterhours, when your energy is dropping, even when you’ve just had some refreshment. This is a sign to your body that your natural energy storage is now empty. And if this storage is empty, even the biggest bump won’t have the usual effect.
However, just a few bites can help to dramatically increase your energy levels. But what to eat if you aren’t hungry at all?
